Information We Collect

Account Information

If you create an account, AVEO collects your email address, username, display name, and account authentication details handled by Supabase. AVEO does not store your plain text password.

Activity and Goal Data

AVEO collects activity information you create in the app, including session category, duration, start and completion time, personal goals, daily target settings, streaks, and progress derived from logs.

Social and Community Data

If you use social features, AVEO collects friend requests, accepted friendships, community membership and invite status, community join requests, community activity and rankings, and active session status while a session is running.

Local Device Data

AVEO stores some app data locally so it can remember settings and logs. Guest-mode data may stay only on your device unless you sign in and sync to cloud backup.

Photos, Camera, and Media

The current AVEO TestFlight build does not request camera access and does not collect photo uploads. Older project documents and backend tables may mention proof photos, but photo upload is not part of the current app experience.

Notifications

AVEO currently uses in-app notifications for friend requests, community invites, and friend activity. The current build does not require Apple Push Notification permission.

How We Use Information

Sharing

AVEO does not sell your personal information. Your activity may be visible to you, accepted friends, members of communities you have joined, and community owners or members when invite or join request features require it. AVEO uses Supabase to provide authentication, database, and cloud sync infrastructure.

Data Retention

AVEO keeps your account, goals, sessions, friendships, communities, and activity logs while your account is active or as needed to provide the app. You can delete local data from the app settings. Cloud account deletion is not yet self-service in the current MVP; contact support to request cloud data deletion.

Your Choices

Children

AVEO is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where required.

Security

AVEO uses Supabase authentication, database access controls, and row-level security policies to protect cloud data. No system is perfectly secure, but AVEO is designed to keep account and social data scoped to the correct user relationships.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as AVEO changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and publish the revised policy.
